JOURNEY OF
HOPE.
During a visit to South Africa in 1960 and having traveled through the British colonized nations in Africa, British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan gave a speech that set forth a ripple effect of independence throughout much of Africa. He prophetically said: "The wind of change is blowing through this continent" because he saw that all people succeed when the nation itself rises from within. At Family Legacy, we believe the winds of change are still blowing, evoked by the Holy Spirit and made possible through education for all. We believe that when you educate a child, you change the world. Whether that education lasts for years or days, it stays. No one can take it away. Empowering these children is God's work; we are simply striving to be His hands and feet to encourage the wind to blow.

SPIRITUAL
We reach out with the message of Hope to the communities we serve, in a desire to see that communities embrace and live out the gospel. We delight in seeing the transformation of lives through preaching of the Word as we share hope in charity. The love of Christ is also personified through the care and nurturing of our staff or volunteers, who invest in the growth and development of the lives we touch.
PHYSICAL
In caring for our communities we heartily desire to build strong and healthy households. Thus, our Feed One program provides nutritious meals for people that need it the most in the communities we serve. We believe that the health our the people we serve is directly impact wealth of the communities. "A healthy people make a wealthy community."
INTELLECTUAL
Education is the most imperative way of empowering and transforming Zambian children to live out their God-given potential, opening a world of opportunity that would otherwise be unreachable. Whether it be a grade-school child, a secondary student, or a young adult pursuing a vocational certificate or a college degree, we provide a pathway to quality education at every level to maximize the future success of our children.
FAMILY LIFE
We desire to highly build strong and sustainable families and also to help bring the basic understanding of the values of family to the community we serve. In addition we prioritize child care, family care, health, education & biblical principles of building a strong family.
ECONOMY
Our ministry objectively looks into bettering the economic status of communal households and the average income of the people and the community we serve. CHIM desires that the families we serve realize their hidden potentials through social and economic empowerment initiatives. We heartily look at the growth and sustainability of the families we serve through empowerment operations, thereby building a strong and self sustaining community.
