Child's Story
Emmanuel is 14 years old, born on the 7th of February, 2007, the child lives in Wasala community with his sister who is a primary caregiver in a makeshift house. Emmanuel has never accessed education in his life due to the sister’s inability to extend a hand of help towards his educational needs as she’s unemployed. Living with an elder sister who is so influential in the child’s life, the boy is tasked to fetch water from the community water borehole where the residents get their water for house chores and other uses.
Regardless of the challenge of never being in class in his early childhood life, Emmanuel has remained optimistic and courageous that one day his aspiration of becoming a military personnel will come into reality. Emmanuel is passionate about caring for his family and country when he becomes of age. Emmanuel like any other child of his age enjoys playing soccer.

Furthermore, Emmanuel loves attending his local church and this has helped him to exercise patience and kindness when mistreated. Though his home environment may sometimes suggest an infliction of emotional pain through profuse bad words, the boy believes God has power enough to change his life and make him fulfil his future aspirations and also to live above the demeaning words spoken to him. We divinely believe and trust God that through our works of love, kindness and hope will make his dreams alive
