Child's Story
Leonard Monda aged 14 is a male child born on the 12th of February, 2007. Having lost his father at a very tender age, Leonard presently lives with the biological mother within Wasala community. The challenge of growing up in a rented make shift house with a single parent whose main source of income is a full time job as a cleaner of which she makes at least $ 2.50 per day, has resulted into having an unsponsored academia.
In spite of all the prevailing challenges and proclaiming to be a slow learner, Leonard aims and strives to become a teacher. Like any other child, Leonard has a passion for singing and athletics.

Agness Mulando (mother) stands to be the most influential individual in Leonard’s life, as earlier mentioned having to grow up with a single parent and at times having difficulties to have three square meals has driven Leonard to engage in part time activities so as to raise more money and support the family.
Leonard is diligent, humble, kind, respectful and whose prayer is to know more about God.
