Charity lives with her biological mother as her primary caregiver. She was born on the 5th of March, 2013 and just turned 9 years old this year 2022. Wasala community has been her home under the care of her mother since she was born.

Charity’s father passed away when she was 4 years old and since then, her emotional attachment has been more to her guardian. Charity suffers from a long term health condition of asthma. In her critical health state, the child lives on a single meal per day, which is normally made a reality through the mother who works as a farm worker for a daily wage of less than $ 2 within the local farms of her community. As a family, they live in a rented make-shift house where there is no proper sanitation.

Charity’s ambition is to become a pilot and becoming the best of her God given dream when education is made available as she is unable to attend school. Charity is passionate about singing and playing soccer. The child’s vulnerability remains our ardent prayer to God that the child may receive support and have her hope built into reality.
