Alex Daka aged 7 years old, was born on 8th August 2015, resides in Wasala community with both parents. He lives in an extended family of 7, with the father being the sole provider in the home.

Alex Daka desires to become a doctor when his of age, even though he has never been to school in his life he remains passionate and zealous that one day he will share a heart of hope to those in need through his profession. Alex and his family regularly have one meal in a day as they all depend on the father’s micro-business of selling firewood or charcoal in the community. Alex’s father survives his family on at least a $3 on a profitable day. The family seldomly affords proper clothing and payment of rentals in a make shift house were they live. Even though the child has both parents and a good family, life for Alex and his family still remains a continual struggle day by day that they live.

Alex normally attends his local church and his passionate about building a relationship with God. His favorite thing to do is playing soccer with his friends in the community. Alex loves to share a heart of kindness and his very coherent to the instructions of older people in his family and community.

Our earnest prayer for Alex is that one day he may live out his desires of life and that things in his family would take a better shape by the Grace of the living God.
