Child's Story
Jude Simushi is an 11year old girl born on February 6th 2011, she lives in Wasala community with her brother who is the primary caregiver and other six relatives. Dearest Jude lost her father when the mother was pregnant of her and the mother later passed away when she was three months old which made her a double orphan. After the death of her parents the older brother became the primary caregiver.
Jude has never attended any school since she was born, this is all by reason of the primary caregiver being unable to provide the holistic support as he only does piece works and the daily income is not enough (less than $2 daily) to care for Jude and her other relatives in the household. Jude and her family normally have one meal a day, lack of proper clothing and they live in a make shift shelter made out of clay.

Nevertheless, this has not demotivated Jude's passionate desire of going to school and becoming a Doctor. Jude loves attending the community church and her favorite hobby is soccer. In all the negative things that have surrounded Jude's life, she remains to be a golden child in the sight of God and we believe that God has good plans for her.
