Child's Story

Stephen Sokoshe aged 10, was born on the 8th of January 2012. He lives in Wasala Community and he belongs to a family of 7. both of his parents are alive, who are his primary care givers.

Stephen’s story is worth of attention, as his parents are both uneducated which deprives them to get formal employment, as a result, they are incapacitated to sponsor Stephen to school. They depend on manual piece works which are not always easy to find in their community. Stephen on the other hand, goes an extra mile by selling vegetables and tomatoes to also help out at home. A physical observation reveals that the living conditions of the family and the child are not well balanced, as the family is impoverished.

His life is rather rough for a child, nevertheless Stephen loves to sing and he believes one day he will fulfill his desire to join the military to serve the nation once he completes his education. Stephen also helps out with house chores like washing dishes at home.

We strongly believe that God has a plan for him, we continue to hold hands of Faith in praying and supporting him in every way possible to put a smile on his face thereby emulating Christ in his life
