Child's Story
Sandra was born on 29th July, 2012 and she’s 10 years of age. Sandra lives with the mother, step brother and step father in Wasala Community in a two room rented makeshift house. Her biological father died in 2014 and this made life challenging as the duty to raise the children all rested on her mother before she remarried in 2021.
Sandra has experienced a traumatic path of life of losing a father at a very tender age. Even though she lives with her mother, the harsh treatment from the guardian doesn't approve a safe environment that describes love as the child is insulted, beaten and told demeaning words that tend to affect her social and emotional life. Dearest Sandra has a severe infection of ring worms and normally experiences stomach pains of which are treated at home considering the caregivers have not enough finances to take her to the hospital and mostly has a single meal per day.

As an ambitious young girl, Sandra would like to become a lawyer when she finishes high school and defend the lives of many innocent people under the bondage of injustice, even though she has never been to school all by reason of financial constraints.

Sweet Sandra is passionate about singing and soccer is her favorite sporting activity. We plausibly pray and hope that the evident hand of God will create a path of success for Sandra in her every endeavor of life.
